David N. Braus has spent his career working with international investment groups advising them on business, legal and strategic considerations for their operations and investments. This has manifested itself in positions as general counsel, a member of the board of directors, or as key management in innumerable investee companies, across continents and across a wide spectrum of industries and developmental stages.
Mr. Braus has overseen and managed a host of cross-border transactions, large-scale litigations and all facets of corporate law and business operations, often in sensitive or highly regulated industries. Though involved in technology companies consistent with his early specialization in artificial intelligence, he has more often been involved in more traditional V.C., private equity and investment businesses who hold interests in investees in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Braus is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia and licensed to appear in numerous state and Federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. He holds an A.B. degree in Artificial Intelligence (Computational Psycho¬linguistics) from Vassar College in New York, and a Juris Doctorate from the National Law Center of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He has also taken master’s courses in Economics from the University of London.
