Dr. Thomas Fallows
Advisory Board
Dr. Thomas Fallows is a businessman with extensive international experience. He has held positions in investment and corporate banking, and wealth management. He is a business owner and manager, and a former academic expert on Russian History. Dr. Fallows was born and raised in California, his countries of residence include Italy, France, Russia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia. Since 2017, he has been based in New York City.
He currently is a Managing Director at Manhattan-based Galileo Global Securities. In this capacity he has worked primarily on placement and advisory services, particularly VC capital raising for Start-Ups. He is also Senior Finance Advisor on the Board of a privately-owned company in the US specializing in Automation & AI in the industrial sector.
Before returning to the US, he worked for 8 years in Saudi Arabia where he was responsible for investment advisory and sales at One Global Asset Management. He also served as a Senior Executive in corporate & private banking at a Saudi Bank. He spent most of his professional life as a corporate and Investment banker with Citigroup in South Korea and Hong Kong from 2000-2008, and was responsible for the Tech, Media & Telecom sectors. In Europe he was stationed in France in the 1990s, and managed major corporate relationships such as Alcatel, France Telecom, and Total, and in Italy in the 1980s, his company relationships included Agip and Montedison.
Dr. Fallows was honored as a recurring appointee to the Chairman’s Club at Citigroup. His banking experience began at the Chase Manhattan Bank where he served as a Wall Street analyst. He then transferred to Rome, Italy with Citibank as a Senior Credit officer. He also, subsequently, served on the Credit Committee of Saudi Bank.
Before becoming a banker, he was a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University where he earned his PhD with a focus on the economics and politics leading to peasant radicalism in the Volga region before the Russian revolution. Dr. Fallows is also a US Coast Guard licensed sailor operating a day-sailing chartering business out of New York City.
